Mu di / The Cowherd’s Flute / Buffalo Boy and the Flute / 牧笛(2K)
Synopsis
Once upon a time, in the idyllic countryside, a young cowherd tended his flock under the warm sun. Mesmerized by the enchanting songs of the orioles, he took up his flute and began to mimic their melodies. To his surprise, the oriole was so ashamed of his skillful playing that it flew away, leaving the cowherd alone with his newfound passion. Lost in the trance of his own music, he drifted off into a dreamlike state and heard a divine melody. Inspired by this otherworldly tune, the cowherd set out to create a new instrument, meticulously fashioning a flute from the finest purple bamboo. As he played his captivating tune, the cows were drawn to him. He held his favorite one tightly, feeling a bond between them that transcended words.
