Synopsis

In a theater twenty-five years ago, Lu Huanqi, a skilled magician, and his wife Fang Meijuan performed a magic show. Their successful act was abruptly halted when a local thug accused them of possessing illegal firearms. The accusation was false, but it led to a tragic outcome - Fang's suicide. Lu, determined to protect his son Amao, entrusted him to a trusted friend and fled the country. After the liberation, Lu returned to China in search of his son, but the quest proved fruitless until fate intervened. One day, while traveling on a bus, Lu encountered a grown-up Amao, who was now a bus conductor. Amao kindly offered to assist Lu in his search, oblivious to their true relationship. But when Amao's adoptive father discovered a magic gun left by Lu, he embarked on a search with his grandson, Tiantian. Sadly, Tiantian went missing along the way. Thankfully, fate smiled upon them, Lu found Tiantian at the train station and kindly decided to help the kid go back home, leading to a joyful reunion.
