Ye shan / In the Wild Mountains / 野山(2K)
Synopsis
Two families resided in a small mountain village. Gray was content with his simple life, but he yearned for a child with his wife, GuiLan. HeHe, on the other hand, was a young man eager to make a name for himself. He tried pottery making, fish farming, and tofu selling outside the village, but all ventures ended in failure. This caused QiuRong, his wife, to leave with their child. GuiLan found solace in HeHe's stories of the outside world, which fueled her desire to experience it herself. She helped HeHe and QiuRong reconcile, but QiuRong refused to return to her husband. HeHe, left with no choice, went to the city for work, and GuiLan followed to discover the colorful city life and support HeHe's aspirations. Upon GuiLan's return, Gray struck her, prompting her to leave the village for good. Gray then married QiuRong, while HeHe and GuiLan found love in each other. HeHe returned to the village with new equipment, bringing prosperity to the community. The villagers admired the couple, while Gray and QiuRong continued to toil manually.
