Synopsis

In ancient times, there was a tale of the kind and graceful Nine-Colored Deer who roamed the mountains and forests, always coming to the aid of the weak and helpless. When a Persian merchant found himself lost in the barren desert, the Nine-Colored Deer appeared before him and showed him the way out. The merchant later shared this miraculous encounter with the king and queen. The queen, captivated by the story, insisted on making clothes from the deer's precious skin and set a bounty on its capture. Despite the Snake Hunter owing his life to the divine deer after it saved him from drowning, he betrayed its trust by leading a troop into the mountains to capture it. The Nine-Colored Deer used its divine power to escape, and the Snake Hunter met his retribution and died.
