征 稿 通 知
“第十三届中国电影史年会”正式开始征集稿件。本届年会拟于9月20至22日在陕西师范大学长安校区召开,主题为“珍稀影像与早期中国电影史:文化主体·历史记忆·媒介考古”。
为保证学术水准,凡报名参会者,必须提交正式学术论文,且论文应为在本论坛首次发表,字数在10000-15000字(含注释)。论坛组委会将聘请专家评审组进行匿名论文评审。论文符合规范且通过评审者,将会收到正式参会通知。本论坛鼓励有志于电影史学研究的青年学者,将在邀请比例、论坛发言、论文结集出版等方面给予重点考虑。依照以往年会的惯例,本次年会仍将设置主论坛、分论坛、互动点评、珍贵影片学术放映等环节。

附件1:论文要求
一、本届年会参考选题。
1. 1920年代以前的中国电影史研究;
2. 早期中国珍稀活动影像研究;
3. 电影史前史研究;
4. 电影媒介考古;
5. 西部电影史研究;
6. 丝路文化与电影研究;
7. “影戏”理论再探索;
8. 中国电影的文化传统和民族形式;
9. 中国电影史与民族国家观念的形成;
10. 电影史料学的理论、方法与路径创新研究;
11. 跨学科的片种史研究(纪录片史、动画片史、新闻片史、科教片史、戏曲片史等);
12. 相关个案与其他研究。

二、论文字数在10000-15000字之间(含注释字数);
三、论文正文前需有内容提要、关键词;
四、论文注释符号应在句号后,采用页脚标注;
五、论文请用Microsoft Office-Word2003以下版本,A4纸幅面,中文正文小4号宋体字,注释小5号宋体字;英文选用正文14号,注释10.5号Times New Roman字体。

Invitation Letter
Dear Sir/Madam:
The Chinese Film History Annual Conference of this year, co-sponsored by China Film Archive (China Film Art Research Center) and Shaanxi Normal University, is initially scheduled to be held in Xi’an in September 2024.
The theme of the conference this year is “Rare Images and Early Chinese Film History: Cultural Subjects, Historical Memory and Media Archaeology”. To ensure academic standards, all invitees must submit original formal academic papers, which should be issued for the first time in this forum (not presented before). Each paper should be no less than 10,000 words, and no more than 15,000 words in length (inclusive of annotations). The Organizing Committee of the forum will engage an expert reviewing panel to review the papers anonymously. Those whose papers meet standard and have been approved by the reviewing panel, will receive a formal notification of invitation. We particularly encourage young scholars in the research on film historiography to apply, and will give the priority consideration in terms of proportion of invitations, forum presentations and the publication of papers.
Similarly to the previous annual conferences, this year will still set up the main forum, sub-forums, group discussions, parallel sessions, interactive reviews, and academic screenings of rare films, etc.

Attachment 1: Paper specifications
I. The content should be related to the theme of the conference this year, topics including but not limit to:
12. Relevant case studies and other research.etc.
ii. The length of each paper should be no less than 10,000 but no more than 15,000 words (inclusive of annotations).
iii. An abstract and keywords are required before the main content.
iV. The annotation symbols should be marked after the full stop with a footer.
V. Please use Microsoft office-Word 2003 or previous versions and A4 paper format. Chinese characters should be set as Simsun in 12pt and annotations in 9pt. English words should be set as Times New Roman in 14pt and annotations in 10.5pt.
